Your Review:
What are your opinions about this particular film?  Give us your own insight!  But please, take care of these simple rules first:

~ Don't be rude.  If I think your review is inappropriate, I won't add it, simple as that.

~ No swearing.  This is basically the same as the 'don't be rude' rule.  We're not here to slam anyone.

~ Please keep in mind that this is an Eric Idle site.  Sure, you're giving a review on the film, and that's great, but please don't go on and on about a different actor or actress throughout your review.  For example, don't blab on about how John was so superb as the black knight and as the French taunter in Holy Grail, etc., as we'd much rather focus on Eric's traits in the film, and the overall storyline, appearance, and entertainment quality of the film itself.  However, that being said, you are more than welcome to talk about Eric's role(s) as much as you like!

Synopsis:

The nasty, vicious pirate Yellowbeard has escaped from prison and is off to find his hidden, buried treasure.  He is followed in pursuit by Commander Clement of the Royal Navy, his wife and son, a few loonies, and a couple of greedy rival pirates.  Together, they all face numerous challenges, and trail after one another as they search for the pirtate's elusive gold while receiving a few bruises and facing a few troubles along the way.

Diane's Review:

You just can't get much better than Yellowbeard.  With a star-studded cast absolutely packed with talent, you're in for a real treat from an ensemble of superb actors and actresses alike.  Witty and corny at the same time, a new gag awaits around every corner, threatening to make you split your sides.  The storyline is simple yet effective, with characters that you can love.  Complete with great costuming and sets, Yellowbeard is one of the best Eric films of all time.  No fan should go without this wonderful comedy in their collection.
