Your Review:
What are your opinions about this particular film?  Give us your own insight!  But please, take care of these simple rules first:

~ Don't be rude.  If I think your review is inappropriate, I won't add it, simple as that.

~ No swearing.  This is basically the same as the 'don't be rude' rule.  We're not here to slam anyone.

~ Please keep in mind that this is an Eric Idle site.  Sure, you're giving a review on the film, and that's great, but please don't go on and on about a different actor or actress throughout your review.  For example, don't blab on about how John was so superb as the black knight and as the French taunter in Holy Grail, etc., as we'd much rather focus on Eric's traits in the film, and the overall storyline, appearance, and entertainment quality of the film itself.  However, that being said, you are more than welcome to talk about Eric's role(s) as much as you like!

Synopsis:

The Life of Brian is a story about a boy-turned-man named, yes, Brian, who was born the exact same time and place as Jesus Christ.  Mistaken for the Messiah himself, Brian must try and convince the people of Jerusulem that he is only an innocent, normal person like everyone else while trying to escape (unsuccessfully) from the clutches of the hateful Romans.

Diane's Review:

Life Of Brian is something that can always be appreciated time and time again.  It is clearly shown that the Pythons truly had a good time making this film, and many of the characters protrayed are just as lovable as those in Holy Grail.  There are many classic scenes in this film as well, especially 'What have the Romans ever done for us?', 'Stoning', and 'Haggling'.  Mr. Cheeky is probably Eric's most notable character in the film, though Loretta/Stan comes in a close second.  Eric's most well-known song, "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life", also makes its premiere debut in this film.  Brimming with irony and sideways jokes and prodding not-so-subtly at religious followers, Life Of Brian is yet another Pythonesque hit.
