Your Review:
What are your opinions about this particular film?  Give us your own insight!  But please, take care of these simple rules first:

~ Don't be rude.  If I think your review is inappropriate, I won't add it, simple as that.

~ No swearing.  This is basically the same as the 'don't be rude' rule.  We're not here to slam anyone.

~ Please keep in mind that this is an Eric Idle site.  Sure, you're giving a review on the film, and that's great, but please don't go on and on about a different actor or actress throughout your review.  For example, don't blab on about how John was so superb as the black knight and as the French taunter in Holy Grail, etc., as we'd much rather focus on Eric's traits in the film, and the overall storyline, appearance, and entertainment quality of the film itself.  However, that being said, you are more than welcome to talk about Eric's role(s) as much as you like!

Synopsis:

King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table have been given a quest by God himself - the quest for the sacred cup, the Holy Grail.  However, between coconut banging for horses, rude taunting Frenchmen, sexy ladies at the Castle Anthrax, and a gay prince, the knights have more than plenty of trouble on their plates. Weird enchanters, black beasts, and killer rabbits await them around every shrubbery.  Holy Grail is by far the most loved and most well-known of all of the Python films, and the basis for the hit musical Spamalot.

Diane's Review:

You just cannot help but love Holy Grail.  It's a cult classic, with timeless dialogue and scenes.  If the coconut gags don't have you rolling on the floor, then nothing will.  Despite the low budget, the Pythons manage to make a great film that has been a favorites for generations now, and will be a favorite for generations to come.  From the famous knights of NI to a certain fearless, limbless knight, each scene is one hilarity after another.  Holy Grail is a true must-see for any Python and Eric fan, and the best of the Python movies to introduce to new fans.
