If you've ever wanted to write Eric a letter, now you can! Below are three different fanmail addresses that you may choose from. They have all been confirmed on numerous occassions as successfully working, though the first address is the most promising and the one I personally recommend.However, if you do intend to write to Eric, it is much appreciated that you include a self-addressed stamped envelope within your sent letter, even though Eric has been known to use his own before when replying. If you don't use a SASE, then at least be sure to include your address where you can receive a reply, or else you won't get any!Yes, Mr. Idle does read all of his own fanmail and writes back to all of his fans (usually in the form of a personalized, autographed photo), but it may, or may not, take a long time. The waiting period has been various, as early as two weeks to as long as over a year. So if you don't receive a haste reply, just keep waiting patiently - he will eventually write back to you or send an autograph!Note: It is well-advised that you do NOT send Eric any copies of your own personal work that you've done - such as a CD, tape, script, etc. Such items are usually just thrown away, so please just keep them to yourself.Good luck with your letter!
