Your Review:
What are your opinions about this particular film?  Give us your own insight!  But please, take care of these simple rules first:

~ Don't be rude.  If I think your review is inappropriate, I won't add it, simple as that.

~ No swearing.  This is basically the same as the 'don't be rude' rule.  We're not here to slam anyone.

~ Please keep in mind that this is an Eric Idle site.  Sure, you're giving a review on the film, and that's great, but please don't go on and on about a different actor or actress throughout your review.  For example, don't blab on about how John was so superb as the black knight and as the French taunter in Holy Grail, etc., as we'd much rather focus on Eric's traits in the film, and the overall storyline, appearance, and entertainment quality of the film itself.  However, that being said, you are more than welcome to talk about Eric's role(s) as much as you like!

Synopsis:

After being contestants on a game show, the Griswold family has won a trip across Europe!  With stops in England, France, Germany, and Italy, the quirky family can't seem to stop attracting trouble and causing problems around every corner and curve.  Between circling Big Ben and Parliament dozens of times to staying with a German couple who they mistake as their relatives, it's one thing after another with a few sexual gags thrown in for good measure.

Diane's Review:

This is definitely one of the better National Lampoon films.  It has some very classic bits and quite a few laugh-worthy jokes, though at times, the movie tries a little too hard, and just doesn't seem to tickle my funny bone.  Eric's role is fairly minimal, though he does make appearances in three seperate scenes.  His "pain" in the film is enough to make anyone giggle, as he is constantly beat up (accidentally) every time he stumbles across Clark Griswold.  However, the film in total is lacking in some ways, so I only give it a three star rating.  It's worth seeing, but it's not something you'll be watching over and over again.
