A few years back, I used to email out an online Eric newspaper called the Daily Dirty Fork, which actually was not daily at all. For a while, it was monthly, then it became bi-monthly, and then it became sort of 'whenever I had the time' ordeal. It was a nice newspaper, but it started to feel like a lot of wasted effort. The newsletter took hours and hours and hours to type up, decorate, and send out, and then I would receive little to no feedback from my issues. So instead I created my new news system, which is displayed on the main page. It is much easier for me, since it takes minutes to update versus hours, and that way I can post new information instantly instead of having to wait to post everything at the beginning of every month. It's a good system, and visitors have agreed that it's much better and more beneficial to all of us.
However, I decided that instead of totally deleting the DDF's page on IH, I'd turn it into the Erichive, where all the 'old stuff' would be stored. So in here are copies of the old issues I'd sent out in the past through the email DDF, and four year's worth of online news keeping. The Erichive will is also home to some of the previous layouts I've used for the site. Anything else old or unwanted anymore will come here as well - old games, old pages, etc. So it'll kind of be like a storage area, or a memory box- an archive. The Erichive.
