~ Please keep in mind that this is an Eric Idle site. Sure, you're giving a review on the film, and that's great, but please don't go on and on about a different actor or actress throughout your review. For example, don't blab on about how John was so superb as the black knight and as the French taunter in Holy Grail, etc., as we'd much rather focus on Eric's traits in the film, and the overall storyline, appearance, and entertainment quality of the film itself. However, that being said, you are more than welcome to talk about Eric's role(s) as much as you like!

Synopsis:

And Now For Something Completely Different was the Python's first feature-length film and consisted of all of their favorite and best sketches from the first two seasons of Flying Circus. Just a handful of these sketches included 'Nudge Nudge', 'How Not To Be Seen', 'The Lumberjack Song', 'Dead Parrot', 'Hell's Grannies', 'Dirty Fork', 'Twit of the Year' and more.

Even though And Now For Something Completely Different has nothing entirely new, do not be fooled or swayed - this is still a great film, loaded and ready to make you laugh. Even if you've seen the material before, the overall quality of this film in far better, and some of the sketches have been tweaked and changed around just a little, so it isn't exactly the same, word by word. A lot of the acting and character personalities have also been perfected, and let's face it - Python just never gets old, no matter what. It's a great way to see some of the very best of early Python work collaborated into a single piece.

From the Dirty Fork Sketch to the Upper Class Twit competition, And Now For Something Completely Different is a showcase of some of the most popular Python sketches. They're exactly as they're performed on the show, except now boasting better camera quality and sets. While the material is still fabulous, ANFSCD lacks new content. Every sketch can be seen on Flying Circus. Nevertheless, it's still drop-dead-hilarious viewing.

I think that it's a very good film, but it lacks new material. If you've seen Flying Circus, then this isn't that funny. Nethertheless, it had some good new lines and liking material. However, I think that Eric should have done Children's Stories sketch, though.
